bobsforgood
R5,000: Bob Skinstad, a Ex Springbok Rugby player, started the bobsforgood foundation in 2009. His foundation provides new school shoes to children in need.

Kuils River Support Group
R5,000: The Kuils River Support Group is a voluntary community-based organisation that provides a supportive service to victims of abuse. The money donated was to help make their annual Life Skills Camp for forty grade 6 pupils from primary scholls in the Kuils River area, possible. At the camp they cover a diverse range of topics including abuse, etiquette, values & relationships, sexuality, HIV/AIDS, Goal Setting, Crime Prevention, Drug abuse, etc.

Andries du Plessis
R12,000: 12 Monthly R1,000 donations for Andries' 2010 school fees at the Gloria Botha school. Andries was born with Down's Syndrome.

Veroeska Swarts
R12,000: Stepping up to the plate to make Janine Swart's Christmas Wish come true, D4D will donate R1,000 to the Swarts family every month for groceries to help alleviate financial pressure as they look after their mentally disabled daughter, Veroeska.

PATCH Helderberg
R3,000: Donated on 12 February 2010 toward funds they need to do their wonderful work. PATCH, the Helderberg Child Abuse Centre, aims to support all child victims of sexual abuse in the Helderberg and strives to prevent the incidence of this horrific crime committed against innocent children.

Brights Lights
R3,500: This institution (in Somerset West) provides day care for approximately 40 children. Twelve of them (boys) also sleep over during the week. The children come out of very poor communities.

Londiwe Khoza
R10,000: On 14 December 2007, D4D together with the radio station 94.5 KFM, had the privilege to help make a wish come true for a young and very promising ballet dancer called, Londiwe Khoza.

Connect Network
R30,000: Donated for use in the Connect Network - Keeping Children Safe Resource Box Project. Read more about this in the attached PDF. Connect Network facilitates the networking of Christian Organizations, Churches and Individuals. Currently we have more than 70 members, who provide services to more than 70,000 children and 15,000 women per month. We endeavour to enhance the Christian response to Women and Children in need.

Sylvia's House
R36,000: D4D committed a monthly donation of R3,000 for a period of 12 months until July 2010 after which it will be reviewed. Sylvia's House, a foster home for 8 children is situated in Gordon's Bay. The foster mother is Sylvia Frank, who has made it her life's purpose to look after abused & abandon children on a full time basis. The house belongs to her mother and she and the children she is looking after stays on the ground level of the house. The house itself is situated on the slopes of Gordon's Bay Mountain and as such there are no flat piece of ground where the children can play... The Samuel Family

Gabriella Centre
R6,000: Daily care for children with severe disabilities (autistic, cerebral palsy and mentally handicapped). Their ages range from 3 to 16 years. D4D’s Father Christmas have been delivering presents there every year since 2005!
